How It Works
Start a New Post
From your project dashboard, click AI Social Posts in the left sidebar, then click Create First Post.
Pick a Direction
AI scans your published website and trending topics across the web, then suggests several angles. Choose one of the two options below, then click Generate:
- Pick an AI suggestion: Select one of the suggested topics. Don’t like the options? Click Re-analyze for a fresh set.
- Write your own: Enter your own idea in the Your Idea section (up to 200 characters).
Preview & Refine
AI generates text and images for all 4 platforms simultaneously. Once it’s ready, you’ll see a preview with platform tabs — switch between Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn to view each platform’s content.For each platform you can:
- Edit the caption: Click the caption area to make changes — a counter keeps you within each platform’s limit
- Select images to publish: Click an image to add it to your publish selection (multi-select supported)
- Regenerate images: Not happy with the visuals? Regenerate a fresh batch of 4 images — optionally describe what you want (e.g. “more vibrant colors, outdoor setting”). Costs 25 credits per regeneration.
- Copy text / download images: Still need to post manually? You can copy the caption text and download the images.
Publish to Your Accounts
Click Publish to send the post directly to your connected social accounts.
- First time publishing? Connect the platforms you want to post to. A new tab opens for each account’s OAuth login — after you approve, return to Readdy and the account shows as Connected.
- Select accounts: Check the accounts you want to publish to, then click Publish Now. You can publish to multiple platforms at the same time.
- Published status: Once a post is live, the platform badge shows a checkmark and you can open the live post from the publish dialog. Click View next to each platform to open the published post in a new tab.
Managing Connected Accounts
Open Manage Accounts from the publish dialog or the social accounts bar at the top of a post to connect or disconnect platforms.- Who can manage accounts: Project Owners and Editors can connect and disconnect accounts. Viewers can’t see account connection status or publish.
- Expired connections: If a token expires (for example, you changed your platform password), the account shows as Needs Reconnect — click to reconnect with a single OAuth flow.
- Disconnecting: Removing an account revokes Readdy’s posting access for that platform. You can reconnect at any time.
Platform Specifications

Viewing Past Posts
All generated posts are saved in your post history. Click Back to list from the preview screen or visit the AI Social Posts page to see all your previous generations. Each post shows which platforms it’s already been published to, so you can tell at a glance what’s live and what’s still a draft. Click any post to view its full content again, edit it, or publish to additional platforms.

Each generation costs 25 credits and produces text and images for all 4 platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn). Regenerating a fresh batch of 4 images costs another 25 credits.
Can I edit the generated text?

Yes. Click the caption area in the preview to edit the text directly. A character counter helps you stay within each platform’s limit. Your edits are used when you publish.

If images fail to generate, no credits will be deducted. You can try again by generating a new post or using Regenerate images on an existing post.
Can I use my own topic instead of AI suggestions?

Yes. On the topic selection screen, use the Your Idea section to describe your post idea in up to 200 characters, then click Generate now.
Do I have to publish from Readdy?
Do I have to publish from Readdy?
No. Publishing from Readdy is optional. You can still copy the caption and download the images to post manually from your own device. Readdy only needs account access if you want to publish in one click.
